Question : How many days should I spend in Hungary for a good travel by a car ?

I would say about two weeks, there are sooo many beautifull sites to see. Budapest is a must, then if I can suggest a few places: Balaton lake, Eger, which is a historic town as well as a famous wine region, same as Tokaj. hajduszoboszlo is a gorgeous place to visit as well, I hope you will have a lot of fun

Major spots to hit would be of course Budapest the capital, maybe Esztergom (north of Budapest, on the border with Slovakia, and right on the Danube), Lake Balaton and the surrounding towns like Veszprem, the Tokaji wine country and then Szeged is a very nice city. Debrecen is pretty too, although I prefer Szeged...I don't know about Pecs, I never made it there. Give Budapest alone 2-3 days I should think...the driving distances aren't too far really, but to hit all of those places....2 weeks maybe?
