Question : Travelling to Hungary later. What is the level of racist violence in Hungary and where can I find more info?

All Answers: Answer #1 my wife is african and lied two yrs. in Hungary.Her brother lives there still.There is racism,but little of violent.mostly small things like refusing to share a seat on the bus.There are some skinheads,but easily avoided.hope you have a nice trip. - answered by taigboland
Answer #2 I suppose we are just as racist as other other countries. I’m sure it’s completely safe in daylight. The last violent attack against foreigners was because of a debate between an English tourist and a taxi driver, but it was not racist but financial. Some months ago some Asian tourists were attacked in Budapest, but the attackers were not from Hungary… So as you see, racist violence it’s not common here, I guess.Well, it’s sure this is not Russia.
