You should go with another single friend. Never travel alone. Look in the travel agencies and ask for single Cruise and tours. They have all kinds

Last year I went to Italy alone because I wanted to learn some Italian. I did a course for part of the time run by a company called IDEA VERONA. I met loads of people and had a great time. I don't know of any websites specifically for single travellers, but if you make sure that you have a hotel pre-booked for your first night you can spend you first day researching what you'd like to do or where you'd like to travel. Signing up for courses is a good idea- even if you are not interested in learning the language you can find courses on art, history, cooking, winetasting, anything.Have a good time.

Do not be affraid of traveling alone, it is really wonderful. Just be careful.Have fun, too.
