Question : Is it safe to travel by car from Yuma into Mexico to the Gulf of California and camp on the beach?
I hear a lot about kidnapping, theft, robbery in Mexico and was concerned about this

Answer #2 When you talk about theft and robbery I'm sure you mean Texas or Louisiana.Of course you can stay camping in the gulf of California, but I'm sure you will be wise enough to look for a special place for camping, with bathrooms, light, water, etc. Don't do it in open camp. Answer #4 Ok Ive been there a lot of times if your going to do that there are places that let you camp out by the beach but have secerity. Try google searching for a spicific spot. - answered by babyvictorialee
Answer #5 Make sure you have auto insurance coverage that covers you while in Mexico, most do not. Also I would travel & camp in a group with others that also want to make the trip. - answered by interested dude
