I'd recommend a cruise. It actually ends up being a bit cheaper since you don't have to pay for food. (and NO you don't go through the triangle. The triangle is south of Bermuda the cruises usually come from the North)

I recommend a five day cruise. There is not a lot to see in Bermuda; you can cover it in a one day tour. After that go to Elbow or Long Bay Beach. Buy a 2 or 3 day transportation ticket which is good on all of the busses, which run continuously from one end of the island to the other and will drop you at the beach stops. And you can use the ticket to take the ferry across the harbor to get another view of things.
