Question : Visiting Yellowstone National Park during April?
Hi everyone,I am planning on visiting the Yellowstone National Park towards the end of this April. I understand that the weather conditions are a bit on the colder side, and that some of the roads / attractions are closed.Still, since I can't travel any other time, I was wondering if it's still worth going. Has anyone been there at this time of year? Is the experience still good - even though it's partly closed? Thanks in advance,Dan.

All Answers: Answer #1 I was actually watching a tv show about Yellowstone the other day... They said that April was actually one of the best months to visit b/c it is when all the snow is melting and it makes all the waterfalls so beautiful. Have fun on your trip! - answered by frogadar
Answer #2 All your questions are answered here: http://www.yellowstone-natl-park.com/I took my three grandsons and our dog there three years ago. It was a wonderful trip. We had to make special arrangement to take proper care of the dog, but we worked it out. There are different types of activities for different times of the year, but you are sure of having great time, no matter when you go.There was a lot of road construction while we were there, but it would take at least two weeks to see everything. If you don't have that much time, choose which highlites you want to see.We bought a video from the Yellowstone Association before we went to help plan. You can get the video from most any travel store. Check out what AAA has also. - answered by yarnlady_needsyarn
