I usually stay away from Montego Bay, I like Negril and Ocho Rios a bit better. But I like going in early December. Bad weather here, 88 degrees or so there. Less of the college people, less of the summer kids screaming, etc.

Peronally, I have been to Jamacia and will not go back. The island is pretty but you will be constantly accosted by people selling contraband or other things. I went skin diving in Negril and it was pathetic compared to other places in the world. There's nothing noteworthy on the bottom.They won't get my bucks anymore. I should qualify this by saying it was 1982 when I was there.
