Travel Guide: Napa Valley - California - United States

Napa Napa
Napa, a one hour's drive from San Francisco, is one of the several towns located in the Napa Valley. The valley is known for its production of wine and Napa offers several bodegas and restaurants where you can sip some fine wine and indulge in (semi)professional wine-tasting. The Napa Valley Wine Train Tour offers a nice combination of excellent food and wine, finished off with some astonishing views of the surroundings. For the real venturesomes, a balloonflight might be a better option.

Question: #6: What would you recommend for RV travel in San Francisco?
I'm flying to San Francisco and renting an RV in October. I'm aware that traffic and parking is a mess in San Francisco, but what other routes would be a good way to go? We'd like to go up through Napa Valley and maybe further north. Any ideas? Thanks. - asked by whale eye

I love sweet wines, but it's really hard to find some good ones. I liked the raspberry one's and I'm looking for Pomegranate as well, without the long trip to Napa Valley. I can travel to LA, Pasadena, & SFV. Prefer Los Angeles ;-)BTW I'm 30. - asked by grldragon101

My boyfriend and I are going to San Francisco for two weekends and one full week. We are going to tour SF and visit friends on the weekends but plan on renting a car and traveling away from the city (North and/or South) for the five week days. Does anyone have any recommendations for cities/locations to visit (other than the obvious Napa Valley), things to do, or places to stay (preferably cute/inexpensive bed and breakfasts). Basically, we have five days away from San Fran--what would be your recommendation for how we spend them? Thanks so much!! - asked by Anne S

Answer: Half Moon Bay. Its a little town about an hour south. Downtown has numerous little restaurants, art galleries, and bed&breakfasts. There are farms around the town and beautiful beaches with amazing views ... - answered by: Paul
