- Movie could... A moving experience, MUST SEE We had no problems getting the tickets out to the USS Arizona. We got out to get tickets around 11 am. We anticipated the 2 hour wait to get to see the film, followed by the boat ride. We strolled... memorial tour this was a very good tour we had a great driver that help us out to make sure that every one got in to see this in a timely manner. I would hilly recommend seeing this will you are there. Go early in the morning This place is worth experiencing, but go in the morning when it's not crowded. Like the vietnam memorial, it is a a very sad but peaceful and profound place. remembering the courage and sacrifice that the sailors and marines gave during an important chapter of american... A national treasure that needs more respect  This was first on my list of Hawaii destinations and I can recommend to anybody. That said, be prepared to spend half a day, be crowded, and get pushed around a little bit.
My biggest complaint... WOW! How awesome to be in such a historical place. This visit increased my level of respect for our service men and women. Thank you and God Bless America! Emotionaly Moving On December 7, 1941, the battleship USS Arizona was sunk, taking 1,100 sailors with it. In 1961, a solemn white monument was erected above the midsection of the ship. The deck of the Arizona lies... USS Arizona I was very moved by this visit. When you first go in they show a video of the Pearl Harbor attack. I wasn't aware that the ship was still there in the harbor but you can see it plainly from... Go Early  Go Early, Go Early, Go Early. I can't stress that enough. We got there at 8:00 am and the line was unbelievable. Probably waited 3 hrs to get in. You can't go to Hawaii with out seeing the...
