Loved the people, the food, the different little shops around every corner. Chatting with locals. Buying a lukewarm coke in the old little glass bottle (with paper swirl print straw) and then... Better than the Beaches Granted, the beaches on Phuket are great, but the town is the main attraction, unless you are looking for the sort of clubs, bars, and prostitutes you can find in many places around the globe.
... Don't forget to visit Kopi de Phuket The place is very cozy, beautiful, really good Jazz and always number one.
