Singapore Reviews Not that interesting  Initially I was impressed by the cleanliness and efficiency. After I had been there a while I began to feel that there was something very sterile and artificial about the place. As far as the... Small utopia!  I arrived not knowing what to expect. The airport was fantastic. The whole city looks so clean, safe, orderly and people are warm and welcoming. I stayed in a hotel very close to Orchard road... Truthfully  As a local, here's to clear up a few matters, with regards to a previous review which claimed that Singapore did not provide a good selection of shoes for shopping because most of the people... Lion City Singapore is a beautiful country because the people have that will to be disciplined making the surroundings clean and fewer crimes. Very easy to go around by train, taxi or buses going to tourist... NOT THAT APPEALING  WHAT TO SAY..HMM.NOT THAT BAD..KINDA CLEAN....CONVINIENT TO TRAVEL AROUND..BUT.FRANKLY SPEAKING THIS COUNTRY DOESNT HAVE MUCH PLACE TO VISIT.BEEN TO BOAT QUAY AND CLARK QUAY...NOTHING SPECIAL..... I'm definitely coming back! I don't know why some people don't like singapore? It's one of the best cities in Asia. Compared to KL and Bangkok, it's not even close. The city is clean, green and beautiful. Definitely... Not worth it not worth the money at all....... disappointed .....too boring.....food ,nightlife,attraction,...just mediocre......better to skip this part of asia and head towards bangkok,kl or bali........HMm... Singpare then and now Well I should say I am very disappointed with Singapore now. I had come to Singapore as a tourist in 2000. It seemed as heaven because I had come from India. I have come to settle down here in... Singapore is a model town! It's Asia lite. So westernized that you feel right at home but people are Asians. Coming from LA the contrast is apparent. Clean streets, very modern architecture, beautiful colonial houses... Lovely and romantic My girlfriend and I spent 3 days in Singapore and loved it. It was a stark contrast to their neighbors to the north. KualaLumpur was a visually unappealing third world capital city.
