It's Asia lite. So westernized that you feel right at home but people are Asians. Coming from LA the contrast is apparent. Clean streets, very modern architecture, beautiful colonial houses...

Lovely and romantic  
My girlfriend and I spent 3 days in Singapore and loved it. It was a stark contrast to their neighbors to the north. KualaLumpur was a visually unappealing third world capital city.
