We were there in April, and it was a beautiful time to be there... the best what i love about punta cana resort is that the resort is beautiful,safe and the beach is expectacular.families will enjoy it.but if you are single and looking for fun thi is not the place,iwould... Iberostar Bravaro is great!! Cant say anything bad about this place....stayed from may 31 to june 7 2008. The resort is beautiful and the beach was the best weve seen. Best value for the $$$ you will find in the Caribbean. Barcelo Bavaro Palace Loved it even better the second time around!! Went for our 20th anniversary 7 years ago and went back and took our kids (23 and 18)with us this time. Booked through travel agent first time and... Making plans for next year Stayed at the Iberostar Bavaro. Would we go back? In a heart beat. It was everything we hoped for plus more. I love this place I dislike nothing, it's such a beautiful place, I really enjoyed coming here for vacation.I would go back here.I wish I could of stayed here longer but I couldn't cause the Summer was almost... Bahia Principe Punta Cana Absolutely beautiful, 5 star all the way, stay in Royal side, closest to the beach. Food was good for D.R, Would go back again. Tipped everyone first day, never had to wait for servers or bartenters... Malaria  I loved it..
BUT
I picked up Malaria while there... and 5 weeks later was deathly ill.. ITs been about 4 weeks of ebing diagnosed....and i still am waking up in the middle of the night 5 times...
