Glasgow Reviews Lost luggage saga continues  I just have to add to the tale of the Continenal lost luggage saga. Although we were ditressed over the fact we where now with out our suitcases; no agenda to where we where going or no real location... Just awful - not a tourist destination  If you visit Scotland go to Edinburgh or the Scottish borders (very beautiful) Glasgow is a nasty run down city which is very unsafe. The people were rude and the food was horrible, the place was... winter keltic festival is great  the people know how to party. It is very,very cosmopolitan 6 times bigger than edinburgo ,like toledo and madrid.
I would like to return in the summer as the city had so many parks and green areas... Sights and sounds Stone work...stone.....work...stone work!
Beutiful buildings. I could walk around and just look at them all day! The people are very kind. George Square is a must benches to sit and feed the birds... big city big heart If all the worlds cities were as friendly as this the world would be a much nicer place.
You get a feeling they are student orientated and the city is for a young crowd.
It is fun and not... Fabulous City Glasgow is, chic, cosmopolitian, trendy, lively yet peaceful city. It's a must see city, and you won't want to leave. So much to do, so easy to get around.
The city has it's own underground... not bad If you visit Glasgow make sure you visit the various pubs in the city centre, Merchant city, Kelvingrove Park, George Square, the Cathedral & the Necropolis, Provand's Lordship,The Tall... didn't leave the city Really enjoyed the Globetrotters hostel in Berkely street. Apart from excellent nightclubs nearby ,charing cross station whisked you up to beautiful mountains,loch long,loch Lomond and the Trossachs... Scotland Glasgow is a great place , you find some of the best hotels and attractions here and theres a massive veriaty of shops and places to eat to choose from. great weekend!  the people are so friendly,everything is great value and the nightlife is very good.Sadly,the city isnt as nice as the people,but you cant have it all
