Both tours... Nice plce but will not go back Rome is a nice place if you are very interested in history or the Catholic church. Otherwise, most of the people are rude, the service is slow and many in the restaurants try to cheat the tourists... Not all bad, but will not go back. The positives were the food, the cappucinos, and the historic sites. The people unfortunatley were very rude, the air in the city was poor due to the high traffic, and the taxi driver's try... Rome is A Great City After a couple of years of planning I finally went to Italy. As a non-romantic, I was skeptical at first but once I got there, I find Rome to be better than what I expected. The only factor that... over rated Rome has lots of history and sites to see as well as friendly peolpe. However everything else is miserable. Restaurants are expensive for the food you get, the city is filthy and covered in graffiti... trip of a lifetime! i went for about a 2 week trip to europe about 3 summers ago when i was 13 and the every last place we saw, was rome. and i have to say, it was so beautiful that i dint want to leave.
